‘Stranger Things’ Writers Drop an Odd Hint for Season 5, That Has Left Fans Excited About Possible Storylines
In February 2022, Matt and Ross Duffer rolled out a bittersweet letter to fans announcing the end of their beloved show. The creators revealed that Stranger Things will finally sum up this epic story in season 5. Although viewers are still not ready to say goodbye to this massively hit world of supernaturals; they have burning questions about the finale. The catastrophe of the penultimate season left all of us hanging somewhere in the middle of things and the fans still don’t know if Max will ever wake up or what step Vecna will take next to destroy the human world. Fortunately, by providing people a glimpse at the final season, writers have certainly given them something new to think about.
The official page of the writing team of Stranger Things recently dropped a tweet about season 5. “Season 5 is like if season 1 and 4 had a baby. And then that baby was injected with steroids,” they wrote. This puzzling post immediately sent clueless fans into a meltdown as they couldn’t understand what the team was trying to say.

While many others showed excitement flooding the comment section with their questions and expectations for season 5. One fan asked: “can you give us a mood board for the pieces of media that inspired the s5 writing process like you did for s4?”.
Someone else suggested: “how about in season 5 we stop letting byler get interrupted while they’re having conversations and let them have a full heart-to-heart.”
“I’ve said it and I’ll say it again, I honestly don’t think season 5 will beat season 4,” added another. We don’t know what this post means, but it’s certainly driving all of us crazy.

All the good things come to an end even though it’s your favorite show and Stranger Things is no exception. However, many fans are still wondering why Duffer Brothers are concluding the show when it is critically acclaimed and has a huge fandom.
Well, the one reason Shawn Levy gave viewers in his interview with Collider was that Duffer Brothers had “the end in sight”. Therefore, they are now moving toward the endgame so they don’t over saturate the audience.
