‘Stranger Things’ Hawkins’ Gang Joins Hand With ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ for a Mash-Up Comic Crossover

It’s the age of collaborations and crossovers. And given the hype of the series and films already, it does make sense why fans are so looking forward to interesting crossovers wherever possible. Well, there’s good news for such fans as Netflix’s one of the biggest blockbusters is currently eyeing an epic crossover with another widely watched franchise. This era’s one of the most hyped shows, Stranger Things and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have an interesting Mash-up Comic book coming up soon. 

As reported by Polygon, hit stars from both the shows, Stranger Things x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will unite for an epic crossover set in the age of the fictional town of Hawkins. Netflix’s popular teens await the teenage mutant Ninja Turtles who appear from the sewers beneath the streets of the Big Apple.

It will reportedly be a miniseries with plotlines that have not been made public yet. Kept under wraps, the announcement of the comic book series comes from IDW and Dark Horse. Nonetheless, the former did the fans a favor to provide a brief synopsis of what’s coming up. According to the idea as made public in the outlet, it seems, “Eleven, Max, Dustin, Mike, Will, and Lucas are looking forward to a nice summer trip out of the suburbs and into New York City.

Nonetheless, they will not be able to do it alone without seeking help from their new teammates, Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael. Both the teams have a humongous and deadly challenge before then. And they must work in force to get past the “both bizarre and familiar” threat.

When will the Stranger Things and Teenage Mutant Ninja series come up?

The first comic issue will hit the shelves on the 12th of July as reported by the outlet. Fans can thus get their hands on the same with the media houses scrounging more into the synopsis for the plot. However, it is said that the fans are expected to witness mind-boggling adventures by both teams. In fact, the same is sure to bring back some of the most memorable moments of both series.

Along with the announcement of the above-mentioned, Polygon even unveiled some artwork for the first issue of the forthcoming series. The viewers have had all the fun, and now it is the readers who will get their hands full.
