Stephen King Reveals He Is “afraid” To Watch Stranger Things Season 4 Finale

Stranger Things season 4 has been streaming in its entirety for almost two days now, and it is smashing records and creating history left and right. Everyone knows the commercial success of Stranger Things. But that is not the only achievement of the show.

Apart from giving us all goosebumps and chills, it looks like the Netflix Original’s final two episodes made even the King of Horror afraid. Stephen King is a legend when it comes to making people afraid with stories.

But after watching the show’s fourth season, King himself had to admit that he got scared. Let us see what he had to say.

Stranger Things Season 4 frightened Stephen King

Stephen King, the best-selling author of ‘The Shining’ and ‘IT,’ confessed that he was frightened to see the last episode of Stranger Things.

After watching the eighth episode, Papa, Stephen took to his Twitter to express how he dreaded watching the final episode. He tweeted.

But this is not the first time Stephen has talked about the show. In fact, King is a huge Stranger Things fan and has watched every season.

When the first volume of Stranger Things 4 came out, King tweeted how he wanted a character to have his own show. He has even praised Winona Ryder for her acting in the show.

Even though Stephen is a huge fan of the show, he wasn’t on board with splitting the fourth season in two. He said in a tweet that the idea of splitting the season was “lame” to him.

Even the creator of the show, the Duffer Brothers, love Stephen. One can spot references to King’s popular books, such as Carrie, in the show.

It will be great to see how Stephen King will react to the show’s final season. And audiences should be sure to spot multiple references to Stephen’s work in the last season too.
