Things are shaking and shaping up at Netflix. After recently bidding farewell to Henry Cavill in Season Three of The Witcher, the streaming giant is now looking for action. And who better to command action than the icon, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself? As Netflix’s Chief Action Officer, the 76-year-old is making sure “everything at Netflix is action-packed.” In his relentless pursuit of action, Arnold Schwarzenegger has now come to Gal Gadot or rather the other way around.

In a recent promotional video released online, the FUBAR star ‘serves coffee’ and gives us a look at Gadot’s upcoming Netflix action flick, Heart of Stone. Schwarzenegger hints that he has given his seal of approval to Gadot by quipping, “She’s good!” And for action lovers, that is plentiful evidence to catch the movie. Gadot will be steering the lead role in the action thriller that promises action, spying, and even more action!

Heart of Stone is a spy thriller landing soon on Netflix. It features Gal Gadot playing the role of Rachel Stone, a brave intelligence agent working for a mysterious international organization committed to maintaining peace. Her mission is to prevent a hacker from acquiring a highly potent and hazardous weapon named “The Heart”. 

This movie has a star-studded cast featuring Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias Schweighöfer. Additionally, Bollywood queen Alia Bhatt is also gracing the screen with her presence. Featuring a variety of exotic shoot locations, the movie promises to ride high on octane and hold viewers down to the edge of their seats. The movie releases on August 11 on Netflix.

Interestingly, this film aims to kick-start a new franchise, much like the iconic Mission: Impossible series. So, with this film we can see Gadot starting a new series of films. However, that is not all; the actress is also returning to a franchise.

Gal Gadot is returning with James Gunn for Wonder Woman 3

Gal Gadot must be brimming with anticipation over her future prospects. The actress is jumping ships on two big franchises. While Heart of Stone is yet to land and kick-start her spy franchise, the star has an already established career as the character, Wonder Woman. Gadot reunited with director Patty Jenkins to star in a not-so-well-received Wonder Woman: 1984, the sequel to her hit Wonder Woman. However, with Patty Jenkins now out of the picture, she has hinted at joining James Gunn for a return.

Gunn, who now spearheads DC Studios along with Peter Safran, is rebuilding the franchise from scratch. As such, the director has done away with fan-favorite Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, who were a part of the original DC ‘Trinity’ along with Gadot. However, in a rather confusing decision cum speculation, Gunn may be returning with Gadot for a threequel or a reboot.
