Fans of the Addams family felt a rush of nostalgia with the release of Netflix’s series Wednesday. The newest version is revolved around the Addams family’s daughter, Wednesday. The character is played by Jenna Ortega who has starred in movies like Scream, Yes Day, You, and The Fallout. While the series already made a buzz with its trailer, fans have started reacting to the first season.

What are the fan reactions to Netflix’s Wednesday?
The holiday season began with the spookiness of Wednesday Addams. After a lot of buzz and excitement, the first season came in with eight episodes. The reactions and reviews of the show are swooping in now. There was an expectation of Christina Ricci showing up in the series, as she played the role of Wednesday in 1991 and was much loved for it, so fans have obviously been excited to see her.

Picking up on Wednesday’s storyline, it showcases her interactions with the ‘normal’ world and her adventures in the ‘Nevermore’ academy. The Netflix original comedy horror series is made by director Tim Burton who is known for his other spoons movies like Corpse Bride, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, etc.
