Sex Education, despite its one-dimensional title, has outdone itself with its multi-dimensional storyline. It left everyone from the audience to the award shows pleasantly surprised as it not only lived up to its name but made sure it did so while curating characters that allow audiences from every spectrum to relate. But for all the right boxes that the show has checked, Sex Education did not even come close to ticking the consistency box as it is only in 2023 planning to drop Sex Education Season 4, after the third season released in the summer of 2021.

Fortunately, Laurie Nunn had curried enough favor with the first three seasons to last for a lifetime. While the hype still remains, fans are a bit lost as to where the storyline left off. And playing balls with her character on the show, Dr. Milburn, Gillian Anderson sat down to give fans what Netflix defined as a “handy” recap.

The mother of the show’s arguable protagonist started off by mistakenly sitting on a baby toy. Jean Milburn dived right into it as she started with the entry of Hope Haddon into the picture. But when it turned out that she was not what they hoped for, Otis and friends were quick to ward her off. It would not be a Sex Education recap if it did not mention the although hurtful but iconic Otis reply to Ruby’s “I love you“. And Dr. Milburn thought the same as she added an aggressive “Yikes!” to the situation.

The much-loved sex therapist did not mince her reactions to the bizarre ordeals, and fans have decided to follow suit with their own variation of “Yikes” and “Go Girl!

Ahead of Sex Education Season 3 fans react to a handy recap

Netflix was quite smart for getting Dr. Otis (the real one), a certified therapist, to take the show’s fans through the recap of what happened last season. This has only added to their already brimming cup of excitement as they await with bated breaths to see where the story takes the characters of Sex Education.

One of the biggest surprises that has come in the form of unhinged fan reactions following the recap is the demand for Ruby and Otis. This is quite contrary to where the show began, with Otis and Maeve being the “endgame” as fans call it. But looks like Jean Milburn is not the only one chanting “Go Girl!” as Maeve gets her degree in the United States.

Apart from the arguable love triangle that has formed among Otis, Maeve, and Ruby, another matter of intrigue happens to be “Who is the daddy?” as aptly stated by Jean Milburn. As scandalizing of a question as it is, fan interest seems to lie solely in the happiness of Jean Milburn as one fan clearly stated, “Who cares who the daddy is if we have you as mommy?” The same sentiment followed Adam Groff, whose character development remains unparalleled.
