Of course, the target audience of this movie isn’t fully grown adults. The filmmakers did not want this to be a cinematic experience of any sort. A kid will definitely enjoy the goofy jokes and slapstick humor of the characters. However, adults will definitely enjoy the sight of their beloved cartoon characters in the live-action format. The action sequences and CGI were also good. The lead cast has done a superb job, especially Matthew Lillard as Shaggy.
The kids’ movie ended up with an IMDb rating of 5.1 and has received 22% on rotten tomatoes. In conclusion, we should not consider the ratings of this movie as the sole truth.
