Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Maya Hawke once got together to pose stylishly for the cameras. Sarah Michelle Gellar brought out some jaw-dropping photos for her fans recently. The actress who starred in her latest series Wolf Pack has also aced at playing mystic characters in suspense or fantasy-based thrillers. Right from playing Buffy Summers in 1997 to Kristin Ramsey for the Paramount+ show in 2023.

On the other hand, Uma Thurman’s daughter and actress Maya Hawke have been making headlines since her role as Robin Buckley in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. The actresses even got together for a major project, but not for any mystery or sci-fi thriller movies.

Sarah Michelle Gellar recently took to Instagram to share several photos of her with Maya Hawke, Camila Mendes, and Do Revenge director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson. The first photo showed them dressed up glamorously, likely around the time they worked on the project together. Unlike their past works, Gellar and Hawke came together to star in a dark comedy film which released in 2020. Since the post was to wish Robinson on her birthday, it had several slides of the two together.

The second picture had the 24-year-old standing in between, giving a side hug to Gellar and the film’s director. Their movie Do Revenge also starred Riverdale actress Camila Mendes, Rish Shah, Austin Abrams, Sophie Turner, etc. The movie received mostly good reviews, even winning a couple of nominations. It was also a Netflix Original project and was released on the platform on 16th September 2022. The movie took some inspiration from ‘Strangers on a Train’ by Alfred Hitchcock.

Do Strangers was about two girls, Drea and Elanor, who face humiliation during their teen years, and their struggles to cope up with it. In addition, they both face bullying in their life. Upon bumping into each other, they get along and decided to help the other seek revenge against those who did them wrong. It takes them on a journey of adventures as they continue to bond.

Gellar played the role of headmaster in the movie. Considering the appreciation they received from fans, perhaps we can expect another movie with Hawke and Gellar again.
