It’s been almost a year and an especially buzz-worthy one for cinema-goers, but fans are still not over Ozark Season 4. And by the looks of the SAG award nominations, looks like award shows also share the same sentiments. The spectacular crime drama released its season 4 in two parts on Netflix. One in January and then later on in April. But the hype around the series is still not dying down as we move into January 2023.

The Screen Actors Guild awards have always been fruitful for the Ozark cast with Jason Bateman winning two. This time around the actor displayed unprecedented versatility in Ozark Season 4 and fans have high hopes that Bateman is going to become a three-time Screen Actors Guild Award winner. His very first came in 2019 and then in 2021, both for his mind-blowing performance as Marty Byrde. However, he isn’t alone as the Ozark cast is leading the SAG Award nominations this year.

Ozark leads SAG Award Nominations

The SAG-AFTRA committee announced that it has signed a multi-year deal with Netflix to broadcast their ceremony on the streamer’s YouTube channel to reach a wider audience. And who is to say that the streamer’s top-notch productions did not play a part in this?

As a matter of fact, Ozark almost never leaves the trending page despite the final episode of the crime series releasing almost a year ago. Therefore it does not come as a surprise that not just Jason Bateman but the show in all its entirety is heading the nominations. Without a doubt, Jason Bateman is nominated for the Male Actor in a Drama Series.

And unsurprisingly both Julia Garner and Laura Linney are nominated for Female Actor in a Drama Series. Ozark fans all around the globe let out a sigh of relief after seeing Laura Linney get nominated.

Moreover, the series is also heading the Ensemble in a Drama Series. Ozark fame Julia Garner is nominated for Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series. This season Better Call Saul and Barry were two crime shows that created the same buzz and impact that Ozark did. And fans were delighted to see Ozark heading the race.
