Michael Jordan is set to enter the soccer league. Not as a player though, but as a co-owner. The Black Panther actor seems to have taken inspiration from Ryan Reynolds who recently purchased the Welsh football team Wrexham AFC. But then, the idea of expanding the pool and investing in businesses, especially sports is becoming more common among celebrities.

The Bournemouth team came into being somewhere around 1899. It has now been purchased by the American businessman Bill Foley. Joining him as co-owners will be Nullah Sarker, who co-founded Kosmos sports. With Michael Jordan, they not only add a Hollywood actor to the list of owners but also the first black person to do so.
