Fans Make a Peculiar Demand as Ryan Gosling Starrer ‘Barbie’ Rules The World With a Mere Trailer
16 December 2022 sure was a big day for cinema. Yes, the long-awaited debut of Avatar 2 certainly was a sight to behold; but there is something more to add to the grandeur of it. Fans finally got to witness the much-talked-about trailer of the 2023 debuting movie, starring Ryan Gosling.
Ever since fans got to know about Barbie, they must have thought it to be another high school flick or rom-com drama with a Disney-esque ending. But as soon as the preview clip rolled out, it shattered all the previous expectations and assumptions, taking fans aback with its unique vision.

Not only does the live-action adaptation aims at questioning the standards animated barbie movies have set so far, but it also satirizes the long-held patriarchal norms. And while everything was pretty much hush hush until now, the trailer manages to give some insights to its audience, and well, fans are going over the wall, putting these unique demands forward on their Twitter walls.

After months of waiting, the first teaser trailer of Barbie premiered on the big screen on December 15th. Following this, they released the 1-minute prologue-esque clip on the internet on December 16th, collapsing the world wide web in the process.
It opens with an allusion to Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey complete with Richard Strauss’ Also Sprach Zarathustra blaring in the background. We could see little girls playing with their dolls until one day, a giant barbie appears, entirely changing the course of history.
Yes, we know you are already going crazy over the teaser. But don’t you worry. It’s not just you. People are apparently booking their Avatar 2 tickets to watch the teaser. Moreover, Twitter users are also going up the wall after watching the trailer as they make these demands to pre-book their tickets in peculiar ways.
