Despite being married to Prince Harry for over four years, the Duchess of Sussex has not been able to gain the love and trust of a lot of British monarchists. Meghan Markle was seen as a misfit in the royal family since the beginning of her relationship with Prince Harry. The British tabloids and the supporters often slammed the former actress by scrutinizing her every action and word.
However, the hate for Meghan Markle has aggravated in the United Kingdom since her departure with Harry and her two children, namely Archie and Lilibet. They accuse her of breaking the family and isolating the Duke of Sussex far away from his home in California. Recently, the Sussex royal found her at the receiving end of harsh criticism from Daniela Elser, a royal author and biographer.

Elser takes a dig at the Spotify podcast by Meghan Markle
Since her departure from the Royal family, Meghan Markle is coming up with new ways to express herself more in the world. It was only last month that the Duchess came up with her Spotify podcast Archetypes. The podcast will feature Meghan interacting with various women leaders and personalities across the globe. Daniela Elser did not come across as a fan of Archetypes as she took a dig at the former actress saying that Meghan can only do a “cringe-worthy podcast”.
The royal expert believes that Meghan Markle cannot match the platform that being a part of the royal family gave her. Elser criticized the 41-year-old for not joining hands with her sister-in-law, aunt-in-law, and stepmother-in-law to empower the family and change the “pale, male and stale image” of the House of Windsor.

“She left the royal family right as this shift was taking place and right now, she is off in Hollywood recording a cringe-worthy podcast and buying cheap Starbucks gift cards,” Daniela Elser wrote for the New Zealand Herald.
The royal author further called out the difference between Princess Diana and Meghan Markle. She believes that, unlike Markle, Diana understood the power that the monarchy holds and thus decided to make use of that to empower herself. The Duchess of Sussex, on the other hand, could not make the correct use of the platform and she will not be able to reach the same stage again.
