Broken marriages, divorces, fear of change and abandonment, and the rage of being left behind breach headlines almost daily. In fact, over the years, the palace has furthered the rift between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the entire Imperial family. Apart from Buckingham’s treatment, there is something yet that has added to Sussexes’ disappointment.

As reports claim, Prince Harry’s closest allies, Princess Diana and her family have become a matter of concern for the duke. Not standing his wife’s humiliation, Prince Harry gave up on all his royal patronages and honorary titles. The sidelined Prince is now distressed to know what exactly went wrong with the Spencers’.

The Spencers never were in support of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

In his book Revenge, the royal biographer Tom Bower stated no one from the former Princess of Wales’ family ever showed her any respect. After all that had been in the last couple of years, Harry was under the impression that Lady Diana and his wife, Meghan Markle, would have been best friends in real life. Both the women faced unacceptance and criticism for being themselves and breaking the Place’s norms.

Prince Harry hence was counting on the Spencers at a time of sorrow and misery. Turns out, the Spencers were more discomforting with the Prince when it came to Meghan Markle. Contrary to what he thought, the royals thought Meghan was a misfit. Bower even mentioned that upon William’s request, Charles Spencer, Diana’s brother, had cautioned Harry for “his haste towards marriage” with Markle.

Although the sidelined Prince had introduced his then-future wife to the sisters of her mother a long time before marriage, the relations never seemed to meet loose ends. Rather, it went even bitter with her mother’s family, who never spared Markle. Her aunts, Jane and Sarah, were a bit too indifferent towards the former American actress. However, when the couple had no one in the family they could rely upon, they left the palace and shifted to the USA. Their royal patronages and honorary titles are gone and they are living their lives quite the way they wanted.
