Henry Cavill has played several badass roles in Hollywood, from donning a Kryptonian suit to solving mysteries. While his Geralt of Rivia from Netflix’s The Witcher became a fan favorite for the way he portrayed a fearless monster slayer, all these mighty characters embodied by the actor have established his image as a tough guy.
Although the 39-year-old star actually is a pretty big nerd in real life and has revealed some of his habits in public. From being a hardcore World of Warcraft raider to painting legions of plastic models, we have seen him do many things. Fans have always loved his nerdy side as much as they love his acting chops. That’s why when Graham Norton tried to shame Henry Cavill over his obsession with Warhammer, fans did not let it slide.
Graham Norton once teased Henry Cavill for his nerdy hobbies
During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Henry Cavill was poked by the host for his nerdy hobbies. In the interview, Norton pointed out one of his many hobbies of painting Warhammer. Norton tried to roast the British actor for playing with toys by asking, “do you invite people over?”
In his response, the Enola Holmes 2 star replied positively and called his hobby fun before sharing how he loves to do it.

Tom Holland also showed his support to the fellow actor by raising his hand and asking “Can I come over and play? It sounds amazing.”
Fans were not pleased with Norton’s “roast”
After fans watched the episode where the host ridiculed the Man of Steel star for his hobby. They took it on social media and defended their beloved actor. One fan posted, “You can never humiliate Henry. The man is a chad. He can get away with anything.” While many others came forward to justify him on Twitter as they didn’t like Norton’s remarks.
Just saw that clip of Henry Cavill talking about Warhammer with Graham Norton. And on the one hand, it was all good fun bants. On the other, I was cringing at how derisive Norts was of Henry's hobby (in front of an audience), because I've had that same conversation 1000 times.

Weird approach by Graham Norton, given how Games Workshop is worth billions. Presumably monopoly and scrabble are deemed acceptable, but table top games must be laughed at? Either way, Henry Cavill is a legend. https://t.co/oeSSxbrm7W

Yeah, I got the same vibe, but highlight was Tom Holland’s,” It sounds amazing!!”. Now I’m imagining Cavill inviting him over to show off his stuff and give hime a demo.

Even though Norton decided to titter and "Toy soldiers" Cavill played it like a gentleman.

I found Norton's response as predictable and cheap as I suspect many of us would but was chuffed at Tom Holland's enthusiasm, diluting perhaps Norton's smug superiority. Good on you Spider-Man.
