He reckoned that the Olympics is for the best athletes in the world to compete against each other to know who is the best. Clearly, the commentator forgot to identify the difference between the two events. This Special Olympics is for a special set of athletes. He then went on with his comment to drop offensive terms for the special athletes. And Arnold took a swing at the troller saying it was a learning lesson for those who misunderstand the purpose of the event.
He wrote one could learn from these special kids and try to push themselves. While on the contrary, one can stay ignorant and continue to be pitiful. However, he also directly addressed the troller by saying if he chose to go the other way, “no one will ever remember you.” A Twitter user posted a screenshot of the original post and admired the former athlete.
