Will Smith brought out the off-screen comedian once by debuting for a standup event. After all, the versatile actor is known for his comedic timing despite being loved for his genres. Now, performing on the screen with dialogues and re-takes is one thing, but performing in front of a large crowd live is a whole different level of ball game.
But being the talented person that he is, Smith took up the challenge and managed to make the audience burst into laughter. Joining him in the fun was his family, who sat in the audience to support him. Here is a throwback to that laughter-inducing event.

Chris Rock may have made Smith the butt of all jokes, but the actor himself charmed the audience with his performance once. As per E! News, the actor joined the likes of Katt Williams, John Mayer, LeBron James, Jon Stewart, etc., for a special comedy event. It was his first time performing at a standup event and sources revealed that he delivered the jokes quite effortlessly. “He’s a natural storyteller,” added the source. Even his wife Jada Smith and daughter Willow Smith joined the audience to support him.
They sat at the booth, accompanied by several other friends, as they giggled at his jokes. He even took a friendly dig at his son, Jaden Smith, who was absent from the event. Making his absence loud, the actor joked how he asked his song and ‘Icon’ singer whether they could make a remix together. Smith then showed off his own Grammy’s after Jaden Smith promptly put his father’s proposal in the bin.

Smith always finds humor as a way to connect with his audience or with his family. It has certainly helped him gain all the love he has today.
Smith rose to fame through his ability to make people laugh
Smith’s first TV show role ever was playing the titular character in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He managed to make spill the truth in a humorous non-offensive way. Although the actor moved to more serious roles in later stages, movies like Men In Black, Aladdin, and the Boy Boys franchise remain some of his best hilarious works. While we are yet to have more stand-up appearances from him, the actor stays active on social media where he keeps sharing hilarious content.
