Zack Snyder recently joined forces with Netflix to make an epic space fantasy film titled Rebel Moon. After Army of the Dead, this is the second major project he is doing with the streamer. Considering his distinctive style of presenting stories, fans have built huge expectations for the production. However, recent developments surrounding the Upfront Event at Netflix have led to the hopes of the viewers. Since the presentation does not include this highly anticipated movie but to make things right, the company teased them about Geeked Week 2023.

A fan recently turned to Twitter to express his concern for the new project Zack Snyder is helming along with Netflix. “I forgot that Netflix Upfront was happening last night. Nothing about Rebel Moon. Netflix Geeked Week isn’t happening this year. I’m done predicting,” he wrote. While seeing this post, Netflix Geeked Week replied and asked him back “r u sure” that the event isn’t happening?

The fan was disheartened to see that the company rolled out dozens of scripted series and movies, but Rebel Moon wasn’t there. So it appears that the streaming giant tried to console him, hinting that they might have something in the box. It is possible they show viewers a glimpse of the upcoming opera film.

Well, these are just assumptions until Netflix Geeked Week reveals when they will bring the fan festival. Meanwhile, viewers can keep their calm for now because the screenplay will soon arrive on their screens whether Netflix talks about it in events or not. Since they have already promised fans a release date.

Zack Snyder is making a dashing comeback with this project says the plot and star-studded cast of the movie. We all know that the American filmmaker has worked wonders when it comes to intergalactic stories. So one can expect Rebel Moon will be one of them as the movie revolves around a peaceful farming colony that is attacked by the forces of a ruthless warlord. In order to save their homeland, a young woman named Kora takes charge in her hand to defend themselves against the attack.

The cast members include Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Corey Stoll, Ed Skrein, Jena Malone, Cary Elwes, and Doona Bae. The movie is scheduled for a worldwide release on December 22, 2023, so you better mark your calendars.
