Prince Harry has successfully set the internet on fire by dropping truth bombs in his memoir Spare. The Duke of Sussex did not show mercy to any of the senior royal members. The scandalous revelations have not gone well with crown loyalists. However, not Prince Harry but Meghan Markle is the one facing backlash from the royal loyalists. The Duke’s former girlfriend Catherine Ommanney is the latest to join the bandwagon.

It was only last year that the TV personality shocked the world by claiming that she dated the royal prince when he was just 21 years old. Speaking about her bond with Prince Harry, Catherine Ommanney revealed that the two could have never shared a relationship. While the TV Star still has a soft spot for the Duke, she is not very impressed by his wife.  

What does Catherine have to say about Meghan Markle?

On the Tuesday episode of ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley hosted Prince Harry’s former fling Catherine Ommanney. Just like all the other monarchists, Ommanney also sided with the royal family in the fight against Sussexes. She believes that Meghan Markle is the main reason for Prince Harry’s split from his family. 

When asked about her opinions about the Duke and Duchess, the Britisher commented that she has sympathy for the Sussex royal. “I’m not going to slander Meghan, she’s done that enough herself. I don’t know what he’s found in Meghan, I’m just really sad for him and the Royal Family because I don’t think he’s going to recover from this quickly,” Catherine mentioned on the TV show.

Notably, the TV star was 34 years old and just came out of a divorce when she met the prince. As per Ommanney, she had the time of her life with the Duke. Meanwhile, in the book, one of the most explosive revelations Prince Harry was about his physical altercation with the heir to the throne, Prince William.

He also discussed various spats that took place between the Sussexes and Wales since the beginning of his relationship with Meghan Markle. Moreover, the California-based royal did not have nice things to say about the King and Queen Consort as well. He labeled Camilla Parker Bowles as a villain and a dangerous person who forged connections with the media houses to uplift her image.
