No matter how hard the Sussexes try to keep things straight, chaos has now become inevitable in every action they take. Some, owing to their ignorance, some because of blatant media outrage, things do get messed up a lot for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In fact, when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle employed a bodyguard for the safety of their family, even that turned out to be no less than a controversy.
Reports have it that the self-exiled pair had mistakenly employed a convicted criminal as their protector. The bodyguard who was reportedly a police officer was held accused of crude violence in the past. Backlashes erupt as Royal Experts claim that they would not have done it if they knew the background. However, Markle and the Prince are yet to make a decision on the same.

Daily Mail has recently published that their bodyguard, Pere Daobry, was once accused of domestic violence in 2016. The 51-year-old former police officer was beating and torturing her wife harshly for some unsaid trivial matters. During the conviction of the assault, his wife had brutal sore and swelling marks on different parts of her body, including the neck and back. Paparazzi spotted him recently with the duo a month later. He was evidently driving Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage in Windsor to London’s Euston Station.

Insiders have raised questions regarding Meghan Markle’s stance on the oppression of women at the hands of a chauvinistic society. The Duchess has time and again spoken about how women are often deprived of their basic fundamental rights of surviving with dignity. Starting from her weekly podcasts to various public campaigns, she has always advocated the basic necessities of American citizens. Hence, employing anyone as such with a totally contradicting past to her own ideologies did not sit well with many.

In fact, Meghan Markle is going to attend an event called Power of Women today, at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. Last year, she took to the US Senate to vouch for a ‘Paid Leave for All Bill’ to the then House speaker. Therefore, it remains to be seen what steps they take against the accused bodyguard.
