The theme of this year’s gala is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. While the Sussexes are far from being the first royals to be invited but the attention their attendance will bring will surely be unlike any other. Notably, the coronation is just days away from the MET Gala, which brings up a vital question: Which of the two events will they attend?

Should they choose between the two, the Sussexes may choose the MET Gala over the coronation. Owing to the number of times they have called out the British Royal family, things are understandably not hunky dory between the two parties. Moreover, the majority of Royal family supporters believe that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have lost their signature British upper lip. The stiff upper lip if lost means a lack of welcome from the Royal family. And the recent updates on their role at King Charles’ coronation seem to also be testifying to that.
