Being a part of the royal family of not, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has always been the Supreme leader of her household. For all we know, Meghan Markle is not your usual soft-spoken royal wife that societal conventions expected her to be. Not to dominate Prince Harry but the former American actress has always walked side by side with her husband. 

With showering endless love and affection on her husband, the Duchess has always wished to lessen the load on him and be the backbone of their family of four. Sources reveal she was much excited to kick-start her new life, all financially independent across the pond in the United States of America. 

Why did Meghan Markle choose to be the breadwinner? 

As reported by US Weekly, Meghan Markle has been well adjusting to her new life after the royal split. Sources to the outlet reveal, “she doesn’t come from millions,” and has, in fact, worked way too hard to “get where she is today.” Post megxit, the Sussex royal signed multiple philanthropic deals with various media giants. Insiders quote, Markle for her part, “loves the idea of being the breadwinner” thus wasting no time in building up their fortune. 

To start with the first of her endless global award-winning projects, Meghan Markle signed a deal with Disney on quite an interesting document about Elephants. The short film which got a royal voicing over the narration was basically the prelude to enormous deals they signed later. 

How did she do it?

Back in the day rumors about her returning to the screen were at an all-time high. However, it seems as if the Duchess went on to move forward with her husband’s advice which was to invest more into writing, producing, and directing pieces at her leisure. The same became evident when Markle’s chartbreaking Spotify podcast started getting all attention.

In collaboration with Archewell audio, the Duchess went on to bag prestigious accolades for her work. Archetypes won the best podcast of the year at the People’s Choice Award with Markle recently getting the recognition as the best podcast host by Gracie Awards.
