The blockbuster crime-drenched thriller series, Ozark on Netflix might have come to an end but its popularity in the industry has not. After pulling down the screens in the early 2022s, Ozark carried on with its award winning streak with a hefty bag of accolades and is still continuing. Following the latest victory at the Golden Globes, the show’s front bearers, Julia Garner and Jason Bateman are heading for another.

In the month of January, the 2023 Screen Guild Awards revealed its nomination list with Ozark leading the way. Top nominations are mostly occupied by the holy trinity of the show: Jason Bateman, Julia Garner, and Laura Linney.

Manifesting the same were the show’s power duo: the ridiculously intelligent Marty Byrde and the petty thief turned crime lord Ruth Langmore at the recent SAG event in Los Angeles, USA. The internet spent last Friday gushing about the stars’ reunion along with showrunner Chris Mundy.

The event was hosted by Netflix Tudum as always and the stars made a stunning appearance before the public to reminisce about the show. While Julia Garner looked drop-dead gorgeous in an all-black outfit rocking a leather jacket, Jason Bateman kept it casual yet classic with his usual t-shirt, a dark jacket shirt, and grey trousers.
