Outer Banks, the adventure show on Netflix, was officially renewed for season 3 last year. We already knew that we were going to get even more John B and his friends, but information regarding the new season was still scarce. Now after a long, we have some interesting updates for fans of the show. Netflix has announced three new cast additions to the show. It&#8217;s going to get even more interesting for the Pogues!
<h2>Newest cast additions to Outer Banks season 3 </h2>
Andy McQueen (Station Eleven, Mrs. Davis), Lou Ferrigno Jr (S.W.A.T., Stargirl), and Fiona Palomo ( La Negociadora, Control Z) will <a href="https://netflixlife.com/2022/06/23/outer-banks-season-3-cast-adds-three-new-supporting-characters/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">join</a> the teens at The Cut for the upcoming season.

Andy will play Carlos Singh. He is a Caribbean Don, who is out on his own treasure hunt. Singh is highly intelligent and extremely ruthless. Lou&#8217;s Ryan is described as a calm and collected security officer working for Singh. He knows what his job entails and the consequences he has to face if he ever fails. Fiona, on the other hand, considers herself a Pogue. She has a likable personality and quickly becomes close to Rafe. 
The new additions will join the returning cast members &#8211; Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Jonathan Daviss, Madison Bailey, Rudy Pankow, Carlacia Grant, Austin North, Drew Starkey, and Charles Esten.

<h2>What is the show about?</h2>
The show follows a group of close friends who call themselves Pogues at the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They start piecing pieces of the puzzles together to unravel the mystery of John B&#8217;s father. While doing so, they stumble on a legendary treasure.
<h2>When is the third installment hitting Netflix?</h2>
We had expected a summer release since the last season aired last year in summer. However, filming is going to continue till August, and then the show will undergo post-production. Hence Outer Banks season 3 will not drop on <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/category/news">Netflix</a> before the end of this year or early next year. 
When the new season drops, we might finally see John B and Sofia reuniting with the rest of the Pogues. John B&#8217;s now-alive father will also add an interesting layer to the narrative.
