“Oscar bait movie just dropped”- Shawn Levy’s Next Netflix Project After ‘The Adam Project’ Starring Mark Ruffalo Has Huge Expectations From Fans
Netflix just dropped the teaser trailer of its most anticipated series, the live-action adaptation of Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning best-selling 2014 novel All the Light We Cannot See, and fans are going gaga over it! Well, how can they not? Peaky Blinder’s Steven Knight and Stranger Things’ Shawn Levy have joined hands as writer and director, respectively, with the very striking Mark Ruffalo leading the show. Naturally, fan expectations are high for this project.
All the Light We Cannot See is a tale of wars. The kind of tales that have a way in our hearts like none other. For over 80 decades, the stories of World Wars have continued to amaze people. Especially when it attaches itself to the human life. And the Pulitzer prize-winning novel perhaps makes the best out of it, and now after a plethora of hit adaptions under its belt, Netflix decided to monetize on this one as well.

For those who are not aware, All The Light We Cannot See is the story of the blind Marie-Laure, the self-doubting Werner Pfenning, and the scared old Etienne LeBlanc. Even though they are miles away, their lives entwine into each other as they find humanity over radio signals. And the 2-minute 37 seconds long trailer depicts the same just perfectly. Notably, the trailer also announced that the series will make its debut on November 2nd.
Although a very short and dialect less rendition of what we are to get in the Shawn Levy-helmed series, the clip is a feast for our eyes. It provides a sneak peek into what Mark Ruffalo and the debutant actress Aria Mia Loberti are to bring to our table as they take us back to the catharsis of a war-ridden world. Moreover, the setting and the overall mise en scène have already managed to make fans’ jaw drop.
