Since time immemorial, the Royal Family has a record of getting along with the greatest of stars in the Industry. Be it Marilyn Monroe curtseying to Queen Elizabeth or Princess Diana dancing with John Travolta. Celebrities have always rubbed elbows with the cream of the British aristocracy. Recently after King Charles’s royal meeting with the King of Hollywood, Ryan Reynolds, another royal and star team, has surfaced on the internet. It is none other than Prince William and Kate with Tom Cruise. 

Owing to the year’s biggest annual festival, Christmas, the Mission Impossible star has put a step afoot to strengthen his ties with the new age Royals, Prince and Princess of Wales. The Sun has reported that the $500 million-worth star bestowed his hearty wishes to the Royals in much extravaganza and flamboyance. This, however, comes as striking news for the estranged royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Tom Cruise sends special coconut cakes to Prince William and Kate Middleton

On the eve of Christmas, Hollywood’s Maverick boarded a private jet from Los Angeles to send exclusive coconut cakes to Prince William and Kate Middleton. He has a custom of gifting his close friends a special €38 White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake from Doan’s Bakery in Woodland hills every year. The Sun reported that Tom Cruise specially mentioned the Prince and Princess of Wales in the list of his superstar pals and co-stars whom he adores. He first met the future King of Britain and the Queen-in-waiting two years ago in his Top Gun 2 private screening.

Ever since, both parties have grown closer to each other year after year. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might be feeling the sting as the relationship between them, and Tom Cruise has deteriorated vastly. Although the star used to sing praises of the two and had also expressed his wish to star alongside Meghan Markle in her acting days in the past, things between them went down the hill after their infamous Oprah Winfrey interview the previous year. 

Reportedly, the 60-year-old star went “off the table” following the disastrous interview with the Sussexes. Having lost them from their inner circle, Harry and Meghan Markle did not have any further developments with Tom Cruise after the controversy.
