King Charles does not realize but his coronation has already been overshadowed by the whereabouts of his estranged son and daughter-in-law, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, or so the reports believe. As reported earlier, it was clear that Monarch truly wishes to get his family in order. Not letting go of any possible chances, the King made special arrangements with the Archbishop of Canterbury to ensure Prince Harry’s presence by hook or by crook. Although the same was met with resistance by the elder brother, it seems the Sussexes have got to make the final swing.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle make it to the top 100 guests for King Charles’s coronation

Anonymous sources close to the Palace revealed to the Daily Express that the Duke and Duchess are on the list of invitees to the grand old ceremony. The two estranged family members will be cordially invited to the Palace premises as King Charles will swear in as the new Monarch of the Kingdom. However, King Charles has tried his level best to keep controversies at bay.

The report also reveals that the Palace is “planning is well underway” to have the estranged couple. However, that takes place only if they bring no drama along with themselves. To keep the brothers’ rivalry lowkey, the King has instructed the management to ensure Prince Harry and Prince William do not sit next to each other at any cost. The authorities will take serious precautions so that the Sussexes do not take away the event from their father. Hence, the Sussexes will have to give up on any press-fetching anti-royal agenda.

Will the Sussexes attend or are they going to turn it down?

While King Charles seems to be doing his best to accommodate them will the Sussexes even attend the coronation? After the explosive documentary and memoir, the Sussexes don’t seem to want to reconcile with the Royal Family. Instead, they seek an apology from them, which they are yet to receive. To add to it, the coronation will take place on Archie’s birthday. In light of these things, the chances of the royal couple attending seem slim.

What’s more? None of the invitations regarding the Coronation have been sent out so far. Buckingham Palace is finalizing the top 100 ‘strong guest’ list with the Prime Minister and the Foreign Office. The ones on the list will receive the official invitation anytime in the next four weeks. As soon as the first 100 are ensured an all-in, the next potential list of individual guests will be sent out on the orders of the King. And should the Sussexes get their invitation, they have but a few weeks to RSVP since the Palace would want it by April.
