For the first time after 1953, the Royal Family of the United Kingdom will have its 40th coronation as for King Charles III. Adhering to the age-old traditions, the historical ceremony will take place at the London Church of Westminster Abbey. However, like any other Royal Coronation, King Charles’ is also surrounded by endless controversies and speculations. The one with his own, Prince Harry is undoubtedly breaching the top headlines.
After the irreparable royal feud broke out between the Windsors and the Sussexes, there has hardly been any chance of reconciliation. Both the parties have vividly drifted apart from each other with the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry continuously slandering his family through various tell-all projects. Nonetheless, reports reveal that Charles still seeks to make amends with his youngest despite the treacherous squabbles.
King Charles wants Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the coronation
According to a report by Daily Express, the Monarch has asked the Archbishop of Canterbury to make a deal for allowing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to the Royal Ceremony. Justin Welby is to reportedly sign an agreement that would allow his warring sons to attend his coronation in May. The same has specifically cleared the way for his estranged son and daughter-in-law to attend the event. The Prince of Wales was never subjected to any controversies in the first place.

Prior to the reports, there had been rampant disputes regarding the presence of the Sussexes at Coronation. The Royal Experts shunned the pair for their docuseries and memoir. Charles had also served an ultimatum to his estranged son. He took a major dig at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when he posed them with a condition. According to him, he would have banned the couple from the event had Prince Harry mentioned any words of humiliation against Queen Consort Camilla.

Although the Duke made various stirring remarks against his stepmother, his book has refrained from making any such defaming statements. Hence, the King has also stuck to his words. He has demanded the Archbishop allow Harry and Meghan at the event of his lifetime. Nonetheless, a report from Daily Mail has stated that the decision by the King is met with resistance from the Duke’s elder brother, Prince William.

January 31, 2023 at 2:54 amIt is my opinion that a private meeting with Harry, Charles. Camilla and William could take place, with NDAs signed to keep things confidential. Perhaps oppologies all around could be made and a temporary truce agreed to.

February 1, 2023 at 2:14 pmI believe that King Charles decision to have Harry there is a very hurtful thing to Prince William and shame on Charles for not taking into consideration Prince William and Princess Catherine. I think William is right in that Harry and Meg are so narcissistic and crave attention now that Harry will do anything to upstage his father and brother and Meg will certainly do anything to upstage Catherine at all costs! The Coronation will be turned into the Kings Circus 🎪
