The drama at Buckingham Palace intensifies with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry leaving the UK before the final event. At first, it seemed like the Queen was extending her generosity. But their deliberate exclusions from all the major events made it clear that the royal family is far from forging the Sussexes. This obviously doesn’t bode well for the couple and their Netflix deal. 

Meghan and Harry were unsuccessful in taking any photos with the senior royals 

The tension in the royal household was palpable at the Platinum Jubilee. The seating arrangement kept the press from clicking the couple with the senior royals in one frame. William didn’t even meet with his brother, fearing a leak on Netflix. Although the Queen did meet Lilibet, she refused to take photos with the newborn. Moreover, none of the senior royals attended Lilibet’s first birthday party. At least Archie got a photo with the Queen when he was just two days old. 

Royal author Christopher Anderson thinks the Queen was unjust to her granddaughter.

“To deny this to Lily on her first birthday just seems unnecessarily mean-spirited.” 

This also means that they probably have no juicy content or photos for Netflix. A photo with the senior royals could have saved their documentary. 

Speculations are rife that this is Meghan’s last visit to the Buckingham Palace 

After all that happened at the Jubilee celebration and their exit, tumors are rife the Duchess may never visit the country again. 

The royal family is still upset over the Oprah Winfrey show, where they spilled tea on racism inside the family. Meghan and Harry never mentioned any names and the Queen had promised to make an investigation into the allegations. However, not much was heard after that. The couple had again pointed their fingers at the Queen for the lack of ownership. 

The bad blood between the Sussexes and the royal family may worsen after the release of the documentary and Harry’s memoir, depending on their contents.
