Working in the industry over the years, Ryan Reynolds has already collected too many famous friends from Jake Gyllenhaal to Hugh Jackman. In fact, the actor and his wife Blake Lively also count Taylor Swift as part of their inner circle as well. 

Taytay has been tight with the couple for years now. She’s almost like their family. The singer is famous for name-dropping Reynolds’ kids’ names in her songs. That speaks volumes about their bond. However, the couple’s kids were not quite aware of Swift’s popularity until recently.

He sat down for a chat on The Jess Cagle Show to promote his upcoming Christmas movie, Spirited. During the interview, the actor recounted the story of when his daughters realized that Taylor Swift was not just a regular aunt. Ryan Reynolds shares three daughters with Lively. Inez, James, and Betty all three thought that singing was just a hobby for their favorite aunt. But once they attended Swift’s concert, and they figured out, it was not merely a hobby!

“And then they went to a concert one day and were like, ‘Ohhhhh, this isn’t a hobby,’ ” he said.

In fact, the Deadpool star shared that his kids were super excited when the Red singer dropped her Midnights album. The Reynolds family had already planned a Midnight dance party. It is only during such times like these that he allows his daughters to say swear words while singing. He finds it hilarious that his kids do not even realize they are swearing! 

In another news, the Canadian shared he would like to become a father to a daughter for the fourth time. The couple has not revealed the gender of their baby. In fact, it remains surprising for them as well.
