As if anticipation weren’t already high for Stranger Things 4 part 2, the makers have dropped a new trailer for the upcoming Volume 2. The trailer promises more horrors at Hawkins with Vecna still running wild and the gang still working separately. However, Vecna’s chilling line in the trailer has everyone’s attention. Viewers are now even more excited and scared for the kids back in Hawkins.
Vecna’s chilling dialogue could mean the end for Hawkins
This season had a lot of things happen and a bunch of reveals. One of the most shocking reveals was that Vecna was in fact Henry Creel also One. Eleven’s first friend at the Hawkins lab was One until he massacred everyone at the Hawkins lab and Eleven decided she was better than him and banished him to the Upside Down. However, the old friend has returned now as Vecna who won’t stop until “he has taken everything“. He shows up in the Stranger Things 4 part 2 trailer with a voiceover that threatens Eleven that her friends have lost. The monologue has created a lot of buzz among the fans. Redditors actually think it’s a great way to reintroduce the villain and his rampage in Volume 2.
What happens in the Stranger Things 4 part 2 trailer?
Volume 1 left us with Nancy under Vecna’s curse, Steve still wounded and trapped in the Upside Down, Eleven still sifting through her memories to regain her powers and the rest of the gangs scattered. We didn’t see them reunite in the trailer yet, but we are guessing they will at the finale showdown. However, the trailer highlights that the gangs are still working separately. The Hawkins gang is targeting Victor Creel’s house, while Hopper Joyce and Murray find the Russian gate. It seems that the older teens visit the Upside Down once again with Dustin in tow with them. And the California gang is still in the search for Eleven who wants to save her friends.
The mega-event will take place on July 1.
