Fans have some strong reactions to Will Smith’s interview with Trevor Noah. The actor came under heavy scrutiny after the Oscars night. No one expected Will Smith to go up on the stage and slap Chris Rock for making fun of Jada Smith’s hair. The act of violence from an A-list celebrity on an Oscar night not only got him banned from the awards for a decade but also attracted immense criticism.

The actor is trying to move on from the incident and is now making appearances to promote his big-budgeted movie Emancipation. In the latest, the 54-year-old gave an interview on The Daily Show, but fans were not very keen on it, as evident from the reactions.

Will Smith appeared on a talk show with Trevor Noah, but fans did not seem pleased

While Will Smith seems to have moved on from the Oscar debacle, fans have clearly not forgotten about it yet. The shows page shared on Instagram about his appearance on the episode of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. This is what people had to say in the comments.

One fan referenced the Oscar incident by tagging Noah, while the other referenced the host quitting the show. The South African-born host announced his decision to step down from his first enormous opportunity, The Daily Show, much to people’s disappointment. The host was also expected to ask Smith about the Slapgate incident, which he did. Will answered the questions, but both his appearance and his answers have only invited more displeasure than to help repair his relationship with fans.

Although Smith apologized to Rock, neither the comedian nor the fans are okay with the incident yet. But the I am Legend actor is also trying to acknowledge the topic while moving on from it.
