The host was also expected to ask Smith about the Slapgate incident, which he did. Will answered the questions, but both his appearance and his answers have only invited more displeasure than to help repair his relationship with fans.

Although Smith apologized to Rock, neither the comedian nor the fans are okay with the incident yet. But the I am Legend actor is also trying to acknowledge the topic while moving on from it.
