Henry Cavill opened up about public comments that might affect his partner

In 2015, Henry Cavill made headlines when he started dating then 19-year-old Tara King. The 13-year age gap between the two was a subject of much debate. Aside from the news outlets, fans were qeually disapproving of the relationship. While Cavill was open about the relationship, he did not welcome public comments, which he got plenty when with King. According to the information by ET Online, he admitted that it feels disrespectful when people don’t think about other’s feelings.

Cavill admitted that he has gotten many comments in the past, and didn’t quite mind it. “I don’t mind it — not unless I’m with my girlfriend and someone is being complimentary to me in order to disrespect her,” stated the Immortals star.

Cavill quoted “I mean, if a girl shouts something like, ‘Oi, love, fancy a shag?” will not affect him. However, if roles were reversed and a girl is told this by a builder, she might feel physically threatened than he feels.

The British star talked about his age difference with Tara 

The pair first met at Mahiki Nightclub in London and went public at the Vanity Fair Oscars party. They started dating when Tara was 19 while Henry was 32 at the time and despite their age difference; they looked adorable. As the actor revealed in an ELLE interview how he was super intimated by her.

“People say age is just a number. It’s actually a real and true sign of someone’s maturity,” explained Henry. Meanwhile, he added that Tara is a fantastic and is much more mature than her age and they have plenty of things to talk about. Unfortunately, the couple split after less than a year together.

Currently, The Witcher star is dating Natalie Viscuso a super rich Vice President of Vertigo Entertainment.
