If you are someone who is new to the K-pop world, then let us tell you that K-pop fans take the whole idol’s birthday business very seriously. From naming stars after them to literally gifting them tons of gold, they go to great lengths and beyond to make sure that their idol feels loved on their birthday. And if the birthday in question is of a particular Mr. Worldwide Handsome that has everyone from South Korea all the way to the United States whipped for him, then, of course, it is a big deal. BTS member Jin just celebrated his 30th birthday this year.

Jin has shown no sign of aging whatsoever and he may even be aging backward if his fancams are anything to go by. While the blood, sweat, and tears that the 7 members of BTS have put into their career is the reason they are a global sensation today, there is also no denying that having a Mr. Worldwide Handsome with his witty dad jokes and windshield laughter made the entire journey ethereal.

And while we all get a little Shakespear-ish when speaking about Jin, the idol in question is busy thinking about someone else. BTS’ Jin once confessed in an interview that not Grammys or hamburgers, but a Hollywood actor is all he can think about when in America. And he even went on to insert the most decent and inviting ‘hmu’ on television.

BTS’ Jin once broke charts in relatability with his crush confession

Let us all do our favorite thing and not think about Jin leaving for the military, but the good old times when BTS was visiting America in 2016 and Jin had everyone rolling with his confidence. It is a very reliable coping mechanism. When the boys were asked who their Hollywood crush or actress was in an interview with Hollywood Access, Jin, without batting an eye, answered, “Brad Pitt.

The laughs around him did not faze him one bit as he confessed his undying love for the World War Z actor. And if you thought it was a one-time thing, then you were very wrong.

When promoting Map of Soul:7, the artist said, “When I’m here overseas, you’re the only person I can think of. So if you ever come to Korea, look me up.” Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds should be thankful Jin and Brad Pitt haven’t met yet or they would give all couple goals a run for their money.
