Any woman, may it be the Duchess of Sussex or a normal mother, has a tough time experiencing motherhood, at least for the first time. All they need is care, immense support, and someone to nurture their needs as they nurture the newborn. However, being deprived of the same, Meghan Markle once opened up about being left unattended during a time like pregnancy. 

In an interview with ITV News, exactly three years ago, the Duchess revealed a lot of heartbreaking realities. She poured out all about the way she felt within the walls of the Royal Palace, keeping her composure intact. However, she could hardly hold her tears back when it came to the struggles she faced alone while she was expecting Baby Archie.

After bringing her firstborn Archie into the world, Meghan had a whole different vigor this time. Although she enlisted quite a lot of unfairness she faced at every step, Markle went boldly to narrate the things that were troubling her. Upon asking if she was doing good, the Duchess, before explaining something, said, “Thanks for asking, not many people have asked if I was okay”.

Elaborating further, the then-young-mom shed light on the vulnerabilities and weaknesses a woman faces when she has her hands full. And that, according to the Duchess, “was made too challenging for her.” Following pregnancy, she disclosed the hardships most mothers face with a 4-5 months-old-infant. While many of us cannot really relate to what her life would have been at the Palace, some mothers can definitely relate to her condition while pregnant.

Prior to this, she also revealed how some British tabloids played a major part in her life. Admitting the fact she expressed how naively she ignored the piece of advice from her friends. Today, Markle is a mother of two, having given birth to Lilibet in 2021. Along with her husband, Prince Harry, she is currently leading a relatively private life in California. The couple are currently looking forward to their documentary with Netflix and Harry’s memoir. Meanwhile, Markle has a successful Spotify podcast on the side.
