Amongst the plethora of roles that the British actor has done, Henry Cavill as the Geralt of Rivia in the hit Netflix sci-fi series The Witcher takes the top spot. But the latest update on Cavill being replaced by Liam Hemsworth has taken the internet by storm as fans from throughout the world are unhappy with the change.

The Geralt of Rivia is one of the most iconic roles we have witnessed over the past few years. Cavill played the part to perfection. And recently when the news of Cavill no longer returning for season 4 of The Witcher broke, it shook the fans. Recently, the fans even started a petition to oppose the decision. The Witcher fans are not so happy with the latest updates on the show

When we watch a film or a tv show, we often get attached to a scene or a character from it. So every time we watch it again, we tend to remember the character. And, not seeing them again is disappointing. Similarly, even Henry Cavill‘s fans were unhappy that Cavill will no longer be returning for season 4 and Liam Hemsworth would be taking charge from thereon as the Geralt of Rivia.

Recently, the fans even started a petition online to reverse the decision. The title reads, “NETFLIX: You MUST keep Henry Cavill as The Witcher and replace the writers instead.” Furthermore, in the petition, the fans expressed pure disappointment and disagreement with the decision. It wrote, “Let us show them in pure numbers. None of us Witcher fans will stand with them and will abandon the show after season 3 is concluded.” 

While Cavill wished good luck to Hemsworth who will take over as the Geralt now, a recent poll concludes that the Witcher will suffer post-Cavill’s exit.
