With the coming of a new year, Netflix is set to release new seasons of many shows. To add to the reality television sector of the platform, season 3 of Too Hot To Handle awaits its release on January 19, 2022. Find here all about the cast and rules of Too Hot To Handle seasons 1 and 2.
What is Too Hot To Handle about?
Imagine The Bachelor and everything that makes it so- the excessive canoodling and overconsumption of alcohol. Now imagine a show with the same premise as any other dating show, but without the romance and you have Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle.
The premise of Too Hot To Handle is simple but is unlike anything seen on reality television before. Contestants of the program are people who have admitted to not being interested in long-term relationships and prefer flings over fidelity. This group is to live together and have fun as much as they can while developing a bond. The twist here is that there is a sex and drinking ban.
The aim of the show is to evoke genuine romance without the involvement of fornication. As a result, the contestants will have to pay for any rules they break. And by “pay for it”, we quite literally mean paying for it.
The winning prize of the Netflix Original is $100,000. Every time either of the contestants breaks the rule of no gratification, the final prize sees a deduction.
The cast of Too Hot To Handle
If Gen Z were asked to describe the cast of seasons 1 and 2 of Too Hot To Handle, the phrase they would use is “Instagram models“. The show brings together conventionally attractive young people who are allegedly so attractive that keeping their hands off of each other for a brief period of time is easier than risking a prize amount of $100k.
