The Harder They Fall on Netflix Pays Tribute to THIS Actor
The Harder They Fall on Netflix has brought some much-needed cowboy action back to our screens. This movie takes us back to the western deserts with some pistol-wielding outlaws up against each other. But, there is a minor detail in the movie that we are sure you have missed. This detail won’t change anything in terms of the plot, but emotionally, this might tear you up a bit.
Netflix released The Harder they Fall on November 3, 2021. It follows outlaw Nat Love as he convinces his gang to eliminate his enemy, Rufus Buck.

As the movie has an ensemble cast of the biggest Black actors, it was fitting that the movie paid a small homage to a late great.
The Tribute
27 minutes in the film, and we can see the letters “C A B” on one side of the train carriage. While in another clip, the other side of the train carriage has the letters “C.A. BOSEMAN”. As a result, we can confirm that both these instances clearly indicate a tribute to Chadwick Aaron Boseman.
Netflix’s trivia delighted fans around the world, as fans will forever remember King Chadwick Boseman, who ruled our screens and hearts as T’Challa in “Black Panther”. The director combined fiction with real-life figures, in order to highlight the contribution of the Black community to history.
The star cast
Jeymes Samuel, also known as The Bullitts, directed this movie to showcase equal representation in the Westerns genre. So he went with an all-Black cast for the lead role. Jay-Z acts as the executive producer and has also collaborated with Samuel on the soundtrack for the film that stars:
Idris Elba (Luther in “Luther”) as Rufus Buck
Regina King (Angela Abar in “Watchmen”) as Trudy Smith
