Netflix’s ‘365 Days’ Trilogy Sets a Rotten Tomatoes Record, but You Will Still Watch It
The erotic saga of s*x, mafia, and seduction has had its three installments till now. Based on the novels by Blanka Lipinska, 365 Days is often compared with the famous Fifty Shades franchise, and some even call it a vague spin-off based on it. However, it is not the case.
For the 365 Days trilogy, Netflix released two movies this year within a short period of time. However, the movies have gathered viewership. But the critics and reviews from Rotten Tomatoes show otherwise.

A contradiction between the reviews and your desire to watch 365 Days
When Christian Gray, in 50 Shades of Grey, says, “We aim to please, Miss Steele,” it certainly pleased the viewers. However, the movie that is often compared with the Fifty Shades franchise, 365 Days, couldn’t really please the viewers. The 365 Days trilogy has intimate sensual scenes, mafia, and some actions to keep the viewers busy with the screen.
We say the unpleasant reception because 365 Days, and its recent 2022 sequel 365 Days: This Day, has received 0% on the review aggregator on Rotten Tomatoes. This means that the movie doesn’t have any positive reviews. However, the third movie from the trilogy, 365 Days: The Next Day, only received 2 critical reviews. While it is not enough for the Rotten Tomatoes score, according to the history of the franchise, it is predictable what will happen next.

As surprising as it sounds, it is extremely rare to receive a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Even if the movie is not well received and is terrible, it reaches at least a one-digit rating. Despite the critics tearing down the film, it has little viewership. The audience score for the first movie is 28%, and for the third one is 40%. The second movie doesn’t have viewers or reviews, though.

The critics are not only talking about the plot and the portrayal of some intimate scenes only but also comment on the design department. Despite receiving such a horrible reception, the creators of the movie are able to complete the trilogy and land it as well.
Have you seen this erotic mafia movie? What is your opinion about the creation of the whole trilogy?
