Fans of Netflix’s hit comedy-drama, Sex Education, are experiencing a mix of emotions as the final season of the popular series is about to be released. A rollercoaster ride of a show making fans laugh, cry and teach lessons about love, sex, and life through its endearing characters at Moordale Secondary School. Fans are missing the unforgettable duo of Otis and Jean–the mother-son team who handle more personal drama than their own clients as sex therapists. Yet, Netflix marking the fourth one as “last” is agonizing to some, as they are not ready to bid goodbye.

Netflix has rung the bell. Classes are over. And as with all things, this bird and the bees talk, too, is coming to an end. As Netflix dropped the countdown to the last and fourth season of the show, fans are both excited and sad. Notably, the fourth season comes close on the heels of many characters choosing to not return to the show.

The last season is set to premiere on September 21, 2023. It gives fans 43 days to get ready for the final 10 episodes of the show. In this season, the Moordale gang will be making a transition to a college called Cavendish, where they will encounter both new friends and foes. 

It is an excitingly hard time for fans as they eagerly anticipate reuniting with their beloved characters yet do not want to bid them adieu too! Additionally, the season will address how the character arcs of their favorite curious teens end. Thus, fans are eagerly on the edge of their seats to get on with their last class before it is finally time to, well, graduate.

Fans echo a variety of sentiments, which are mostly a blend of sadness and anticipation. They want the season to drop but no one wants it to end for good!

“Can’t wait,” seems to be what most fans are echoing in tandem. It is almost like a soccer crowd chanting a hymn in sync!

However, there are a few too who have expressed that the show has delivered what it stood for and it is time that it does end.
