Netflix has been showing interest in animation this year as it recently released an adult series Entergalactic based on Kid Cudi’s music album. And now it is coming up with a movie based on the Nickelodeon show Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which was first released in 2018. However, the series remained unsuccessful after running for two years as it did not pick the interest of viewers.

The streamer is reviving the storyline of the crime-fighting Titular Brothers in hope that this interpretation will come out triumphant. Because previous live-action versions like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows were not received positively by the audience. Moreover, Netflix has revealed the storyline of the brothers when a stranger arrives from the future to warn the turtle gang. Because a terrifying alien species called Krang is planning to invade Earth so they have to stand for their planet. 

“The Turtles are put to the test when a mysterious stranger named Casey Jones arrives from the future to warn the mutant brothers of an impending invasion of the most dangerous alien force in the galaxy – the Krang!”
