Meghan Markle had a rollercoaster of emotions on her latest Archetypes episode. Starting from her childhood to actively participate in bringing a change to the stereotypical world, Markle explored it all. She ran deep into her far-reaching discussions about women and the societal conventions imposed on them. However, before all of it, Markle took a moment to acknowledge the strongest woman in her life, her mother. 

Reminiscing about some of her sweetest childhood memories, Markle was all smiles as she mentioned her mother. Even so, she could not stop gushing about how although she is now the Duchess of Sussex, she will always be the little girl to her mother. In the course of the podcast, we also came to know about the adorable nickname Markle’s mother has for her.

Before jumping into the main course, Markle recalled some sweet days she spent with Doria Ragland. “My mother still called me flower” the Duchess revealed, throwing light on the ever-beautiful relationship they share. After disclosing her nickname, she joked with a sweet gesture about how a 41-year-old Meghan Markle is still a flower for Ragland. She further shared some of her memories from her schooling.

Before speaking about freedom and fulfillment, she shared a flashback to Immaculate Heart-all-girls Catholic School in Los Angeles. The Duchess received her education for five significant years from an age of 12 up until she was 17. All this while her mother has been her rock who molded her into what she is today. However, this is not the first time Meghan Markle expressed gratitude to her mother on Archetypes. 

Earlier in the month, in her episode of Good Wife/Bad Wife, Good Mom/Bad Mom, she had again taken a moment to thank Ragland. Speaking of her mother, Meghan Markle has faced criticism due to her maternal race. Although her father is white, her mother is black, giving Markle a biracial color. As of now, Doria Ragland is a social worker and a former yoga instructor who hails from Ohio, USA
