However, when the antagonist got the offer to star in the film, his manager warned him as this film could have ended his career in Hollywood before it even began.

If Schwarzenegger would have listened to his manager when saying yes to the character, we wouldn’t be recognizing the actor as The Terminator actor. When the former governor of California got the offer to star in the film, his manager warned him not to choose it. Despite the film doing well at the Box Office, James Cameron couldn’t believe the success of the film. The reason was Schwarzenegger’s look. Cameron said there was no way you would have found a Terminator from the crowd if they looked like Schwarzenegger. It made no sense to him and he was confused about how did the film become a blockbuster. However, the director mentioned that it is the beauty of the cinema. It didn’t have to make sense; it had to have plausibility.

Although the manager was against it, Schwarzenegger chose the character and made it one with himself. It is one of the most successful franchises that the superstar has been a part of.
