The rejection from the HBO show shattered the actress

Just like any other person, she had to face hundreds of rejections to finally get the show that completely changed her life for good. Making an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Millie Bobby Brown candidly spoke about how her life was all about nos before Stranger Things.

“I auditioned for Game of Thrones, and I got a ‘no’ for that. Then that’s kind of when I was like, ‘Oh, this is really difficult,’ because I guess I really wanted that role. So one of my last kind of gos at this was this Netflix show called Montauk

“And I auditioned. And then, two months later, they got back to us. We then named the show Stranger Things, but Montauk was definitely the one that kind of gave me that hope of doing it all again,” Millie told Jimmy Fallon.
