Known for his rigidly negative stance on the Duchess of Sussex, Tom Bower has launched a wide spectrum of blistering attacks on Meghan Markle. Apart from his recent infamous interview where he took simultaneous jibes at the Duchess, no one can forget his striking novel, Revenge. The book publicly called out many false allegations against Markle and gave rise to outrage in the UK. 

One of the most controversial statements ever mentioned in the book was about the link between the Obamas and the Sussexes. The unauthorized biographer has openly stated unconfirmed thoughts and opinions between both legitimate families. Here is what his excerpts read.

Narrating an incident between the Royal Family and the Obamas, Bower has made some striking remarks about Markle. According to him, “Meghan’s attitude alarmed Michelle,” the former first lady of America. He has further written about how Markle was never in favor of how the Obamas respected the Queen. Hence, Michelle had openly advised Markle of the ramifications of her actions. 

Further, Michelle also asked Markle to “take some time” and not be in a hurry to do anything. She then went on to draw lines of parallel between her life and the Duchess’. Michelle could hence resonate with Meghan’s impact on people around the globe. However, despite Bower’s continuous claims of tension between the two personalities, we have always witnessed the total opposite in real life. 

The two leading women of the West have always stood firm in their decisions on voicing sensitive matters. The two seem to get along with a shared sense of mutual respect. This was evident by the way Obama vouched for the Duchess after her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. In a full-length interview, she expressed how “heartbreaking” it was to see Markle facing all of it. Not only did she support Markle but also called out the unnamed royal family and prayed for forgiveness for them.
