Everyone is well-versed in the aggravating amount of controversies spiraling in the Royal Family of Great Britain. Hence, according to recent mishaps that have brought along with it a good deal of scattered relationships, it may seem difficult to picture Prince William and Meghan Markle in the same frame. However, it did happen in the past. During the infancy of Prince Harry and Markle’s engagement, the future in-laws did get along as swimmingly as they could. 

Amidst rising tensions between the brothers and their wives at loggerheads, the Waleses and Sussexes have come face to face on various occasions in the past few months. The end of 2022 has ignited a fire between the two families. However, during this ongoing cold war, it is time to go back to where all of it was a distant nightmare for the family. Prince William and Meghan Markle once shared a heartwarming moment in public

Back in 2018, the bride-to-be and the elder brother shared a warm hug, followed by a quick kiss on the cheek at the Westminster Abbey. The family, with its both core and then-future members, had gathered on the occasion of Anzac Day. Right before the entrance of the commemoration service hall, Prince William and Meghan Markle happened to cross paths. The two future in-laws greeted each other with a hello followed by a sweet gesture that was witnessed by everyone present there. 

Although their present tie hangs by a narrow thread, the future King and the Duchess once shared a beautiful relationship. In fact, in their first Royal Foundation Event together, Prince William had delivered some sweet words addressing Markle. “I’m particularly happy to be at our first Royal Event with Meghan,” the Prince of Wales had said. Following the same, before things started to go south, the four had frequently put up a united front on many occasions. 

However, unfortunately, things have never been the same between the fours. Two years after Prince Harry tied the knot with Markle, the two renounced the Royal Family and settled in the US. The reasons for which they have been airing mainstream through their recently released bombshell documentary, Harry & Meghan. The six-part-docuseries currently streams exclusively on Netflix.
