The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has made her mark in the world by always speaking her thoughts crystal clear. Before stepping into the royal family as Prince Harry’s wife, the former American actress was herself a well-established entity in the United States. Thus to share her view and bare opinions with her audience and the entire world, the Suits Actress had an entire blog to herself. 

The Duchess had poured her heart out about both her professional career and personal life as well. The same consisted of a lot of information and revelations about some of her relationships that are now long gone. Fallen into the trenchant quagmire of controversies, Markle and her now-estranged father are not on good terms with each other. But there was a time, she was eternally grateful to her father. 

Brought to our notice by FoxNews then-actress wrote on her website, The Tig, “I think of so many moments with my dad.” She had written the same in a 2014 Father’s Day post where she further talked about all the overwhelmingly memorable moments she had spent with her father. Talking of Saturday morning ballet classes to the fishing trips along the Kern river she said it all. 

“The blood, sweat, and tears this man invested in my future so that I could grow up to have so much,” wrote the Duchess expressing her gratitude towards her father. The Tig website archives have recently come up on the internet owing to some of Markle’s stirring comments about her now sister-in-law, Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton. She had reportedly commented on her and Prince William’s wedding back in the early 2000s. 

What happened with Meghan Markle and her father? 

The entire controversy surrounding her father had been under the covers until Meghan Markle spoke of it in Netflix’s blockbuster Harry & Meghan docuseries. 

She spoke about how tabloids had her Thomas Markle in headlines accusing him of staging paparazzi photos for money. In the first three episodes of the six-part-docuseries, Meghan revealed how she tried her level best to reach her father. Nonetheless, there had been no further developments between her and Thomas Markle following the scam.
