Complementary to her subtle yet classic outfit were her purple suede pumps that made the mother of two more graceful than ever. The silver lining to the dress was the touching and meaningful message that it delivered. Staying true to her feminist spirit, her outfit radiated the same through the three contrasting colors. 

According to an outlet by the International Women’s Day Website, colors like green, purple, and white are social cause colors. Markle’s long, forest green bodycon dress symbolized hope for the prosperous future of society’s women. And as a matter of course, Purple has always stood as an emblem of International Women’s Day. It was for delivering this message at the “Power of Women” event that the Duchess donned such meaningful colors. 

According to recent reports, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex are all set to attend another prestigious award ceremony as front runners. The self-exiled couple whose life motto has become the welfare and upliftment of women and society as a whole is to receive the Ripple of Hope Awards by the Robert F Kennedy Foundation.
