There are no doubts that Ben Foster joining Wrexham AFC was one of the best football moves off the field. Foster had announced retirement last year and, therefore, him stepping back into his shoes caused a roar among football fans. Not just fans of Wrexham AFC or owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who likely scored a green card to this season’s football league trophy with his entry, but everyone who had witnessed the spectacular play that Foster had put up for decades rejoiced his return. However, someone had to give up their seat to make for his entry. And in this case, it was Mark Howard and Rob Lainton.

As Rob Lainton endured an injury, landing him off the ground for at least six weeks, Ben Foster entered the chats. Many assumed that other members of the club union will feel threatened.
