Netflix has been at the center of everything beautiful happening in 2022. We have so far had some great movies and shows make their way on the streaming platform. One of these movies is The Royal Treatment starring Laura Marano. The actress is also a singer and a producer. She has showcased all her talents in the Netflix movie and has been at the receiving end of many words of praise.
Laura recently sat down with Elite Daily and talked about her experience working on The Royal Treatment. She also talked about a few more things, including her life on social media, especially Instagram, and also about her other works, including The Perfect Date.
Laura’s experience working on the movie
While talking about a picture from the set of The Royal Treatment, Laura opened up about the time when she was in New Zealand shooting for this movie. She said, “This was while I was filming The Royal Treatment when we were in New Zealand. I was just finishing a part of hair and makeup and I was trying to quickly eat breakfast, but I didn’t want to mess up my hair and obviously, I was wearing wardrobe. So I had this coat on me to make sure I didn’t spill anything because I only had a limited amount of time to eat.

She continues, “I think this is also very deep into the shoot, so I was just a little overwhelmed, I’m not sure if you can tell. And my assistant for the film — Kristy was one of my favorite people ever — she took the photo because she was like, “You look crazy and I think you will appreciate me documenting this.” And I did. I was like, “This is who I am, folks. This is who I am right now in this moment.”
Laura Marano is still a little overwhelmed by all the royal treatment she is receiving for her movie. Recently, she took to Twitter and expressed her disbelief.
What is Laura Marano starrer The Royal Treatment about?
The Royal Treatment is a sort of Cinderella-like story about a hairdresser named Izzy based in New York. In a rather lucky way, she finds herself working on a gig that takes her straight to a handsome prince, Thomas. Netflix released the official logline and synopsis of the movie.
New York hairdresser Izzy seizes the chance to work at the wedding of a charming prince, but when sparks between them fly, will love — or duty — prevail?
Isabella runs her own salon and isn’t afraid to speak her mind, while Prince Thomas runs his own country and is about to marry for duty rather than love. When Izzy and her fellow stylists get the opportunity of a lifetime to do the hair for the royal wedding, she and Prince Thomas learn that taking control of their own destiny requires following their hearts.
Laura has sung two beautiful songs in this movie titled “Dance With You” and “Worst Kind of Hurt.” Moreover, she has also produced this movie along with her mom Ellen Marano, and sister, Vanessa Marano.
