Kanye West has always been the trendsetter, even when it comes to family matters. Most recently, he inspired basketball player Tristan Thompson. The one thing that these two have in common is their connection with the Kardashians. While neither of them is in relation with the Kardashian sisters anymore, they have an unbroken permanent bond as a result of having children with the sisters.

While West was married to fashion mogul Kim Kardashian, Thompson was in an on-and-off relationship with younger sister Khloe Kardashian. That relationship has now ended, but the 32-year-old player decided to move closer for practical reasons.

Apart from Kourtney Kardashian, both Khloe and Kim Kardashian are leading their world as single moms. Despite their differences with their former partners, the two have managed to find a way to co-parent. While Kanye West bought a house close to Kim Kardashian during the separation period, Thompson has followed on that track as well now. As per The Sun, the basketball player purchased a mansion at walking distance from Khloe Kardashian. This is actually to be close to the children they share, including a daughter True, and a son.

The mansion comes with six bedrooms and costs a whopping $12.5 million. After selling his previous property, Thompson reportedly signed a deal for this one. It is supposed to be at walking distance from Khloe Kardashian’s $17 million L.A. mansion. This is a lot like Ye purchasing a $4.5 million mansion opposite the SKIMS owner to be closer to their four children, North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint West.

Ye has remarried now and peacefully co-parenting with Kim Kardashian. But Tristan Thompson’s relationship with Khloe was a bit more tumultuous.

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson never actually got married. But the socialite officially called it quits after the news of the player getting Maralee Nichols pregnant made headlines. They have a son, Theo, together, while he also shares another son, Prince, with his former girlfriend, Jordan Craig. Khloe Kardashian still maintains a cordial relationship with her ex and even attended his mother’s funeral. She has also been positive about being single now.
